Following the Music Every Day and Photos Every Day iPhone ads aired earlier this year, Apple has now begun airing a third ad in the same series. This time around, the ad, entitled “FaceTime Every Day,” focuses heavily on FaceTime , and how it can be used by people of all ages across the world.
One of my favorite parts of the new ad is at around the 20 second mark. highlighting a deaf woman using the service to communicate with one of her loved ones (as noted by Steven Aquino, and mentioned by Federico Viticci on Twitter, the sign language translates to “I can’t wait to be with you. I love you.”).
The advertisement ends with a single statement: “Every day more people connect face to face on the iPhone than any other phone.” It’s an extremely powerful and emotionally rich ad that relies on simplicity and the purity of its message to get its point across – and it does so exceptionally well. So far, it’s my favorite ad in the series!
Well done, Apple. I hope to see many more ads like this in the future.
