Sprint to Cut iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c Prices by $100 for New Customers

Sprint will be offering $100 discounts on the new iPhones to any new customer that ports a number over to Sprint from another carrier. That means the 16GB iPhone 5c will cost $0.

9to5Mac:

With this promotion, the iPhone 5c will cost $0 for a 16GB model and $99 for a 32GB model. The iPhone 5s will come out to $99 for 16GB, $199 for 32GB, and $299 for 64GB. The iPhone 4s, like the 16GB iPhone 5c, will be free of charge.

The promotion does require you to sign a contract with Sprint, (file that under “DUH!”), and is, of course, a limited time offer.

Sprint is also reported to be ready to join in on the yearly upgrade program fad with their “One Up” program, set to begin September 20th, which just happens to be the debut date for the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s.

(Editors Note – In the interest of fairness, the author of this post has been forced to admit under only mild duress that you can probably get the same discount on ::UGH!:: Non-Apple phones.)
