Apple Releases OS X Mavericks Golden Master to Developers

Following reports earlier today that Apple had released a near-final version of OS X Mavericks to AppleSeed testers, Apple has now finally released the official Golden Master of OS X Mavericks to developers. The update comes just two weeks following the latest OS X Mavericks Developer Preview.

The designation Golden Master means that this is the final version of OS X Mavericks that will ultimately be released to consumers later this month, and is feature complete and (presumably) largely free of significant bugs and issues. The Xcode 5.0.1 GM seed, Apple Remote Desktop 3.7, and a new preview of OS X Server are also available through the Mac Developer Center.

OS X Mavericks is reportedly set to launch sometime in mid-to-late October, and considering that we’re seeing the Golden Master now, that’s practically a guarantee. The update is available now through Apple’s Developer Center for paid members of the Mac Developer Center. Go get ‘er developers!

Update: Golden Master seed now available through Software Update as well.
