Not satisfied with Siri’s voice on your iPhone? Want to hear what happens when Siri gets a gender change? Siri’s voice can be changed back and forth from male to female. Here’s how it’s done. In iOS 7, it’s easier to do this than ever before!
How to change Siri’s voice in iOS 7:
While it was possible to change Siri’s voice gender in iOS 6, it previously required the user to change his or her region settings, potentially affecting Siri’s accuracy. Unlike iOS 6, iOS 7 officially supports both male and female Siri voices in most if not all regions, without the potential issue of affecting accuracy – it’s just as easy to make the change, and you won’t have undesired negative consequences.
- Open Settings, and tap General
- Next, Tap on the Siri pane, then on Voice Gender
- To make Siri sound like a woman, select the Female option, or the Male option to make Siri sound a bit more masculine.
That’s all there is to it – have fun performing your very own “Siri sex changes” at home in mere moments!
