Apple Confirms Black Friday Deals – Available Online and In Store

Apple has confirmed that it will offer Black Friday deals both online and in its retail stores. The confirmation came in its Australian online store.

9to5Mac:

Apple hasn’t revealed what the savings will be, but last year offered $100 off MacBooks as well as smaller discounts on iPads, iPods and a range of other products. The promo also says that shipping is free without the usual minimum spend caveat (usually $50 in the US).

While no such confirmation has been posted on Apple’s U.S. site, one should be forthcoming.

While Apple does offer deals on Black Friday, they usually aren’t as good as those offered by other retailers for the same products. We suggest you check each retailer’s Black Friday ads for their deals before heading out into the throng of shoppers.

(UPDATE 11/26/13) – As expected. Apple has confirmed their Black Friday deals for the U.S. market.

(UPDATE 11/29/13) – The Apple Store deals all involve gift cards instead of cash discounts.

  • MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac: $150 gift card
  • iPad Air: $75 gift card
  • Non-Retina iPad Mini: $50 gift card
  • iPad 2: $50 gift card
  • iPod Touch: $50 gift card
  • iPod Nano: $25 gift card
