AppleInsider:

The latest Mavericks beta build 13C48 comes one weeks after Apple released theĀ third beta versionĀ of the upcoming OS X 10.9.2 maintenance update to developers in mid-January.

The accompanying release notes indicate Apple is still focusing on Mail and Messages, two apps that have bedeviled many users since their launch as part of Mavericks back in October.

Apple is also requesting developers to test message server block (SMB2), graphics drivers, VoiceOver, and VPN services.

Developers can download the new build via Software Update or Apple’s developer Web portal.
