Are you going to be stuck at work, or some other similarly blah place while the Super Bowl is on this Sunday? Fear not, oh intrepid football fan! The Fox Sports Go app has got you covered. Well, as long as you have an Internet connection. And an iPad… You’ll need an iPad too…
To showcase its streaming service, the network is offering a one-day pass to its Fox Sports Go service. This service is usually available only to cable subscribers on six providers, but on Sunday it will be opened up to everyone in the US.
Due to a licensing deal between the NFL and Verizon Wireless, the game will only be available on the iPad. iPhone owners who want to watch the big game will have to subscribe to Verizon’s NFL Mobile service.
You can download the Fox Sports Go app for free in the App Store. And U.S. fans will be able to access free Fox Sports content beginning at midnight eastern time on Sunday, February 2, and running to 3AM eastern on Monday, February 3.
