Walmart and Target Continue to Entice iPhone and iPad Buyers With Special Offers

If you’ve been holding out for a deal on an iPhone, or you’ve been looking to get more for your trade-in on a new iPad, new promotions from Walmart and Target just might do the trick for you…

CNN Money (via 9to5Mac) reports that Walmart is dropping the price of a 16GB iPhone 5s down to $119 on a two-year contract. This is one of the lowest price points for Apple’s flagship phone that I can personally recall. You can knock more off of that price if you trade-in your old smartphones, video games, tablets, and other gadgets you may have laying around the house in exchange for Walmart gift cards.

If you’re looking for an iPhone 5c, $29 will get you a 16GB model, on two-year contract from said discount chain.

Sunday will see Target offering a gift card of at least $150 for an iPad 2 or newer trade-in. When compared to online trade-in firms, such as Gazelle, you’ll find they’re offering slightly above market value. So, good deal there. Oh, and Target will also give you an extra $30 gift card if you buy a new iPad from them.

Target is also getting into the iPhone 5c/5s trade-in action by giving you an extra $50 on a smartphone trade-in when you purchase a new iPhone 5c/5s from them with a two-year contract.
