Apple Retail Stores Will Now Accept All Old Products for Recycling

Apple will now be accepting old products for recycling at all of its retail stores worldwide. The Associated Press reports that while the company has ran a recycling program for some time now, not all products had been accepted for recycling at the retail stores.

Previously, those wanting to trade in an old Mac or iPad were required to fill out an online form and ship it with a pre-paid label. iPhones and iPods could either be brought into an Apple retail store, or ship it to Apple for recycling.

Customers will now be able to bring in all products for recycling at any of Apple’s retail locations. All products will be accepted for recycling, and in addition, those products that are still in good condition will also receive a store gift card.

Apple introduced an iPhone trade-in program last year that allowed customers to trade in their devices for an Apple Store gift card that could be used toward the purchase of a new iPhone.
