Paul McCartney Re-Releases Five of His Classic Albums as iPad Apps

Paul McCartney has re-released five of his classic albums as iPad apps. Band on the Run, McCartney, McCartney II, RAM and Wings over America have been turned into apps by music label Concord Music Group.

McCartney is hoping to tap into a new customer base, with each app boasting remastered tracks, photos, videos, album artwork, and interviews.

The apps/albums can be purchased in Apple’s iOS App Store for $7.99 (£5.49) each. That’s an excellent deal, considering, (as TNW points out), that albums typically cost around $17 per when downloaded via iTunes.
