Shipping Times for Some iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus Models Slip to 1 Day

Good news if you’re looking to put an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus under the tree this Christmas. Apple store shipping estimates for both the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in the 16GB and 64GB models of both devices, including all colors and carriers, have slipped to one business day.

The larger capacity 128GB models are still taking around 3 to 5 business days to ship.

MacRumors reports that shipping estimates are also showing similar improvement in many other countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Thailand, Philippines, and more.

Shipping estimates for the popular handsets have been slowly improving, as Apple begins to catch up with demand. Early December saw shipping estimates improve to 3 to 5 days for the 16GB and 64GB models, while 128GB capacities were taking 7 to 10 days to ship. Last week saw estimates improve again, with the 16GB/64GB models slipping to a 1 to 3 days wait.

It’s now possible to walk into many Apple Stores around the United States and purchase an iPhone 6 or 6 Plus. Online stock tracking tool iStockNow shows units available from all carriers, and in all capacities and colors are now available in most stores.
