FiftyThree’s Pencil Stylus for the iPad Now Available in Apple Stores

FiftyThree today announced the availability of its popular Pencil stylus in Apple retail stores. While Apple recently began selling the stylus in its online store, this is the first official word on its availability in Apple’s physical retail locations.

FiftyThree:

We’re proud to kick off the new year with a special announcement: Pencil is now available at Apple! For the first time ever, see Pencil up close and get it at your local Apple store.

The Pencil is a Bluetooth stylus designed for creative activities such as drawing on the iPad. The stylus includes functions such as Surface Pressure, Erase, Blend, and adaptive Palm Rejection. The stylus takes great advantage of FiftyThree’s own Paper app for the iPad.

Pricing for the Pencil starts at $49 for the graphite version, while the hardwood walnut model will set you back $59. The Pencil iPad stylus will be initially available in the U.S., U.K., EU and Canada, with a global roll-out soon to follow.
