Buzzfeed:

The Apple Watch hasn’t yet shipped, but already developers have created thousands of apps to run on it. And ahead of the device’s arrival at market tomorrow, Apple has crowned a handful that it’s promoting as must-haves.

Apple has given Buzzfeed a preview of what the Watch App Store will look like, and it reports the featured apps are the usual susects, with Twitter, Yelp, Instagram, and The New York Times along for the ride.

Other apps to be available at launch include public transit app Citymapper, weather app Dark Sky, brain-training app Elevate, and department store Target’s app.

We’ll also see a butt-load of fitness and sports related apps, including fitness tracker Misfit Minute, Fitstar Yoga, Golfshot, and calorie counting app Lifesum.

The Apple Watch App Store is expected to go live later today. We’ll keep checking our Apple Watch app, and let you know when it goes live.

(UPDATE) – Apple was apparently waiting until we said it would go live later today, because as soon as we published this post, the Apple Watch Store went LIVE! It is available in the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.
