First Trailer for ‘Steve Jobs’ Hits the Web

Universal Studio has released the first official trailer for the Steve Jobs biographical movie. Filming began in January, and while we’ve seen a few leaked photos, this is the first official look at the biopic.

The trailer consists mostly of a single shot of Michael Fassbender as Jobs, with bits and pieces of conversations and quick looks at other characters in the movie, including Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, and Jeff Daniels as John Sculley.

The Jobs biographical film, penned by Aaron Sorkin of West Wing fame, has been through many changes since the film was first announced. A number of actors have been announced for and then dropped out of the project, and the film has even changed studios, moving from Sony to Universal due to scheduling conflicts.

The trailer was released on YouTube, and was shown during the final episode of AMC’s “Mad Men” on Sunday evening. The film is due to be released on October 9th.
