Space Black Apple Watch Won’t Hit Store Shelves Until Online Orders Fulfilled

Space Black Apple Watch Won’t Hit Store Shelves Until Online Orders Fulfilled

This morning we reported that the Apple Watch will arrive in Apple Retail stores in two weeks. Also, Apple confirmed that all orders that were placed through May will arrive in two weeks, with the exception of the 42mm Space Black stainless steel Watch.

9to5Mac now reports that Apple has sent an email to all who ordered the Space Black version to clarify that particular model will not be available in-store until all online orders have been fulfilled.

“Thank you for ordering an Apple Watch. We’re working hard to ship orders as quickly as possible and in the order they were placed.

As you may have heard, some models of Apple Watch will soon be available for purchase in Apple Retail Stores. We’d like you to know that the model you ordered will not be available for purchase in Apple Retail Stores until all current online orders have shipped.

When your order ships, we’ll send you an email with a specific delivery date and tracking information. For the most up-to-date information about your order, please visit online Order Status.”

So, the bad news is, it’ll be just a little bit longer folks. The good news is, no one is going to walk into an Apple Store and grab a Space Black Apple Watch that belongs on YOUR wrist.
