Amazon Releases Cloud Drive Client for iOS

Amazon has released an official iOS client for its Cloud Drive service, allowing iOS users to access their files stored on the service via their iPhone or iPad.

AppleInsider:

Users of the app can browse files and folders and preview compatible documents, such as photos, text, spreadsheets, and presentations — among them PDF and Microsoft Office files. Direct music and video playback is supported for some media formats.

iOS’ sharing functions allow users to send files from their Amazon Cloud storage via instant messages, and emails, as well as opening the file in a third-party app. One disappointing constraint is that currently the app does not allow uploading to their Cloud Drive via the app.

Amazon Cloud Drive for iOS is free, and is available for download from the App Store. [GET IT HERE] – Amazon currently offers two tiers of storage to subscribers, a 5GB storage level for $11.99 per year, (however that does include unlimited storage for photos), and a fully unlimited tier for $59.99.
