HSBC and Over 70 Other Financial Institutions Added to Apple Pay Support Rolls

Apple has added top ten U.S bank HSBC, as well as over 70 other banks and credit unions to its ever-growing list of financial institutions offering the Apple Pay contactless payments solution to their customers. The additions brings the number of supporting financial institutions to up over 600 issuers nationwide.

MacRumors notes that the list may include some smaller institutions that have already offered support, and are just now making it onto Apple’s updated list.

Apple Pay is currently available in only the United States and United Kingdom. However, Apple does plan an international rollout of the payments service, including Canada and China, in the near future.
