Mini-Review: Don’t Lose Your Apple Pencil Cap – Get the PencilCozy

I recently purchased a 12.9-inch iPad Pro, and along with it I also grabbed an Apple Pencil. While I love both of my new treasures, I immediately found I had a tendency to lose the cap that covers the Apple Pencil’s Lightning Connector. So, it was off to Amazon to see what I could see…

Almost immediately, I found the PencilCozy from Cozy Industries. This $7.99 piece of silicone slides over the barrel of the Apple Pencil, and then over the Pencil Cap, thereby securing the cap to the Pencil, with no worries about losing the cap while charging your Pencil.

The one I picked up was white, but it also comes in a variety of other colors, and even a glow-in-the-dark model for those nocturnal iPad Pro users who live among us. Also available is a “combo” model, which offers a holder for the Lightning adapter that comes with the Apple Pencil. (I wish I had seen this one before I ordered the solo model.)

Verdict

I have to say the PencilCozy is one of the best purchases I’ve made. I never have to worry about losing the cap off of my Apple Pencil, especially as it seems it can just pop off at any time. For anyone who uses an Apple Pencil with their iPad Pro, this accessory is a HIGHLY recommended purchase.

Rating: 4.5/5.0 – This accessory performs exactly as advertised. It does just what it needs to do, and nothing more. Plus, it doesn’t get in the way!
