UK Apple Pay users now have an additional two banks they can count on for support for Apple’s contactless payments solution. Clydesdale Bank and Yorkshire Bank announced that they now support Apple’s mobile payment platform, making them the 19th and 20th UK financial institution to come on board.
The two banks were separate entities. However, they merged in 2005, but retained their separate branding, even though they operate as a single company, known as CYBG. MacRumors note that a third brand operated by the group – simply called B – will also support the service.

Apple Pay works with the iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, Apple Watch, iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2, and both models of the iPad Pro.
