Google had confirmed earlier that the ASUS ZenWatch 2, Moto 360 2nd Gen, Moto 360 Sport, TAG Huer Connected, and Fossil Q Founder Android Wear devices would not pair with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

9to5Mac reports Google has contacted them to confirm the issue has been resolved with the release of the iOS 10.1 update. Apple and Google worked together to create the fix. The specific cause for the issue hasn’t been announced, but a number of other Bluetooth connectivity issues were reported with 3rd party devices under iOS 10, so it is likely related to that.

Apple released iOS 10.1 on Monday, which contained a laundry list of fixes and updates, one of which was: “Improves Bluetooth connectivity with 3rd party accessories.” More information about the iOS 10.1 update can be found here.
