Rumors: Apple to Debut a 5-Inch ‘iPhone 7s’ Boasting Dual Vertical Cameras

Now that we have Christmas and the after-Christmas shopping & mall rioting behind us, it’s time for a new iPhone rumor. Japanese tech blog Mac Okatara claims Apple is considering the release of a new 5-inch “iPhone 7s” model that will boast a unique vertical dual-camera system.

The 5-inch device would not replace a current model in the lineup, but would instead act as a mid-range device between the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone models.

The Basic Specification Is The Same With The iPhone 7S · iPhone 7S Plus, And The iSight Duo Cameras Are Installed Vertically Instead Of Horizontally, And Various Specifications Are Still Under Consideration.

The publication says the final specs for the device will be decided upon in the second quarter of 2017. The information for the report comes from a Taiwanese supplier.

As usual, reports like this should be taken with a grain of your favorite low-sodium seasoning, and we’re bound to hear plenty more rumors, which both agree and conflict with this one, in the coming months.
