In-Store Pickup Tool to Check AirPods Availability Now Online

Apple’s in-store pickup tool, which allows customers to check for availability of AirPods in their local Apple stores is now online. Users simply need enter their zip or postal code to view availability at store in their area.

MacRumors notes Personal Pickup for AirPods is currently live in the United States, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, showing availability of February 6-8 in most countries.

The tool is not yet available in Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey, or the United Arab Emirates. However, it should be activated in those countries in the near future.

Monday marked the first day AirPods became available for purchase at Apple retail stores. While most stores quickly depleted their inventory of the hot-selling wireless earbuds, Apple has noted that retail stores will continue to receive regular shipments of the accessory, so keep checking the tool for availability near you.

Online availability of the popular wireless earbuds is showing a 6-week delivery timeframe for delivery, meaning a late January-Early February 2017 delivery timeframe for online orders. While AirPods are available via third-party retailers, their stock on hand is also limited, so keep your fingers crossed when searching for them as a last-minute Christmas gift.

Feb 10 update: While the initial spike in demand (see Google Trends below) for AirPods dropped, we are still seeing the same 6 week lead time from ordering to receiving. You can read our complete AirPods Availability Checker guide here.
