BeatsX Earphones Purchase Includes Three Free Months of Apple Music

Apple’s BeatsX earphones will become available for purchase this Friday. A number of hands-on videos featuring the W1-equipped earbuds have gone live ahead of the launch.

iDownloadBlog:

… Comparing BeatsX to AirPods, YouTuber Jonathan Morrison has discovered that all purchases of BeatsX come with a code that customers can redeem for three free months of Apple Music (on top of Apple Music’s existing three-month free trial).

When registering their new earbuds on the official Beats by Dre website, buyers will be able to enter a code they’ll find inside the box to score an extra three months of Apple Music.

Morrison’s video also includes some great info about the various features of the new earbuds, such as their 8-hour battery life, Siri-compatible RemoteTalk, and seamless iCloud pairing.

BeatsX are powered by Apple’s custom W1 chip, which allows iPhone users to quickly and easily connect the earbuds to their device, simply by powering them on and holding them near an iPhone. While Apple’s AirPods also boast the same connectivity, they are completely wireless, while the Beats-branded earpods are connected to each other by a flex-form cable.

iDownloadBlog notes Friday’s release will offer the most affordable option for customers looking for W1-equipped headphones from Apple. At $150, BeatsX beats the price of the AirPods, PowerBeats3 and Beats Solo3 headphones. The new wireless earbuds will be available on Friday via Apple.com, Apple’s retail stores, and selected third-party retailers.
