Apple No Longer Signing iOS 10.3.1 Following Release of iOS 10.3.2

Apple on Tuesday ceased signing code for iOS 10.3.1, following the release of iOS 10.3.2. This means users can no longer download and install the older version of the mobile operating system. Users will now only be allowed to download and install iOS 10.3.2 from the Apple servers.

Apple released iOS 10.3.2 in May, which contained minor bug fixes and performance improvements. Apple regularly stops signing older iOS code to keep users from installing the older version of an operating system, which helps ensure users have the latest available version of the OS on their device.

Apple is currently testing iOS 10.3.3, which will deliver the usual bug fixes and performance improvements when it is released later this summer. Apple is also beta testing iOS 11, which will include a larger number of user-facing improvements and back-end fixes and enhancements.

iOS 11 will see improvements for Siri, Apple Pay, and other apps and services. The iPad will especially benefit from the new mobile operating system, with improved Apple Pencil integration, drag-and-drop features, and much more.

iOS 11 will be released to the public this fall. For more information on the upcoming operating system and its features, be sure to visit our iOS 11 Beta page.
