If you’re a developer that missed out on attending Apple’s 2019 version of their Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC 2019), or if you just need to be reminded of a particular point, you can now search transcripts of the conference.
Developers can now search through the WWDC 2019 video library using keywords and see all mentions of that keyword in a clip. Users can also jump to the times a keyword was said, and share the timestamped link with others.
You don’t need to be a registered developer to access the videos, as they’re available to everyone, not just registered Apple developers.
Many developers miss out on WWDC every year, either due to a lack of funds, or because they simply don’t win the right to buy a $1,599 ticket in the annual lottery. Plus, with meals and lodging, the price of attending the conference is out of reach of many folks.
Apple has offered transcribed and indexed versions of WWDC videos since 2015, making it easier for developers to search for specific talking points in the massive amount of info available from each conference.
