GarageBand iOS Update Brings Dark Mode, External Drive Support, More

GarageBand for iOS, Apple’s free music making app for the iPhone and iPad, on Thursday received an update to version 2.38. The update brings support for some of the new features in iOS 13.

While GarageBand already had a darker interface, the app now is totally compatible with iOS 13 Dark Mode, thanks to lighter interface elements. The update also brings support for external hard drives, SD card readers, and USB drives.

In addition to those iOS 13-related features, the app also boasts improved audio fidelity of Apple Loops when making tempo and key changes, and a new downloadable “Skyline Heat” sound pack.
