Ming-Chi Kuo: Apple’s iPhone SE 2 to Debut Q1 2020 – Starting at $399

Apple industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says Apple is planning to release its much-rumored iPhone SE 2 handset in the first quarter of 2020. Kuo says the device will start at $399.

Kuo told subscribers about the device in a research note. He says the new budget-priced iPhone will boast the following specs:

  • A13 CPU (same as the current iPhone 11 lineup)
  • 3GB LPDDR4X RAM
  • 64GB and 128GB storage options
  • Space Gray, Silver and Red colors
  • No 3D Touch

Kuo says he expects the new handset will prove to be a popular upgrade option for exiting iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s owners. The new handset is expected to resemble the form factor of the iPhone 8.
