Apple’s iWork Apps for Mac Update, Gain Support for iCloud Drive Folder Sharing, More

Apple on Tuesday updated their iWork suite for Mac. The suite includes Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. The updates include added support for iCloud Drive folder sharing for collaborative folders on Macs with macOS 10.15.4 installed.

The updates also include new templates, new editable shapes, a redesigned template chooser, an option to apply a color, gradient, or image to the background of any document, and more.

Pages 10.0 Release Notes

  • Select from a variety of gorgeous new templates to help you get started.
  • Add a Pages document to a shared iCloud Drive folder to automatically start collaborating. Requires macOS 10.15.4.

  • Apply a color, gradient, or image to the background of any document.

Keynote 10.0 Release Notes

The updates appear to be limited to the macOS versions of the apps, as there are no updates for the iOS version of the apps appearing in the App Store.
