Bloomberg: Apple Working on New Apple TV With Faster Processor and Updated Remote

Bloomberg says Apple is working on a new version of the Apple TV equipped with a faster processor, and an updated remote that offers “Find My” capabilities. The information was part of a wider report on Apple’s fall product launch plans.

An update to the Apple TV 4K has long been anticipated, and it is believed that the new set-top device could launch at any time. However, Bloomberg says the new device might not ship until 2021.

In addition to the obligatory faster A-series processor, the new Apple TV is expected to include a redesigned remote, boasting a feature similar to Find My iPhone, which would help find the lost remote when it is inevitably lost.

Bloomberg doesn’t offer any additional details about the new Apple TV, other than it will possibly be available in 64GB and 128GB storage options.
