Twitter Reportedly Working on Tweet ‘Undo Send’ Feature

Twitter is considering adding a much-rumored “Undo Send” feature to its social media platform. This is according to an animation unearthed by de-coder Jane Wong, who discovered the feature animation, which adds a new “Undo” button to the usual dialog that confirms a tweet has been sent.

As seen in the tweet shown above, the Undo button has a long oblong shape, which also acts as a progress bar, displaying how much time the user has left to cancel the tweet before it is actually posted to the service.

While users have long demanded an edit function for already posted tweets, the “Undo” feature might be the closest the service will come to offering such a feature.

Bloomberg in February reported on new Twitter features that were being considered, such as the possibility of Twitter’s exploring the possibility of paid subscriptions, which could include an “Undo Send” function among its advanced features.
