In the wake of the cancellation of its iMac Pro computer, Apple is also discontinuing its Space Gray “Magic” accessories that were sold separately alongside the iMac Pro. The iMac Pro was the only Mac available in Space Gray.
In Apple Store product listings, availability for the Space Gray Magic Mouse 2, Magic Keyboard, and Magic Trackpad all now show as “While supplies last,” meaning that these accessories will only be available until existing supplies are exhausted, when they will only be available in a silver color option.
Now that there is no longer a Space Gray iMac Pro available, Apple has apparently decided to no longer continue making the Space Gray peripherals.
Apple’s new M1 iMac is available in seven different colors, complete with matching trackpads, mice, and keyboards. Currently, those accessories are available only when purchasing one of the new iMacs. Currently, Apple does not make them available as a separate purchase.
