Apple Music Android App Now Compatible With Windows 11

If you’re an Apple Music subscriber who is a Windows 11 user and aren’t fond of accessing your favorite music through the iTunes app or your browser, there is good news. You can now run the Apple Music Android app on your Windows 11 desktop.

The first preview release of Androids apps support is now available on Microsoft’s Beta Channel version of Windows 11. The Verge’s Tom Warren tweeted about the feature.

Microsoft released Windows 11 earlier this month, but the promised support for side-loaded Android apps was not yet enabled. However, the feature is one step closer to being released to all Windows 11 users, as the feature is now available to testers in Microsoft’s Beta Channel version of Windows 11. You’ll need to be enrolled in the Windows Insider program to have access to the feature.

Currently, Android support is limited to a select number of apps that can run on Windows 11. Microsoft has partnered with Amazon to make approximately 50 apps on the Amazon Appstore available for downloading and installation on the new Microsoft operating system.

While Apple Music is not available in the Amazon Appstore, users can sideload the app using the app’s APK file and the Windows Subsystem for Android.
