Apple has launched its annual Back to University promotion in Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, and Brazil. The program offers students and teachers free AirPods when they purchase an eligible Mac or iPad from January 6 through March 7.
As reported by MacRumors, eligible devices include the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, iMac, Mac mini, iMac Pro, iPad Pro, and iPad Air. While free second-generation AirPods are part of the deal, customers can upgrade to third-gen AirPods or AirPods Pro for an additional cost.
Apple offers Mac and iPad models at discounted educational prices when purchased through the educational stores for Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, and South Korea. Apple also knocks 20% off AppleCare+ protection plans.
Apple customers in the countries will need to add an eligible iPad or Mac to their carts, and the option to add the free AirPods or upgrade will come up during the checkout process.
Discounts are available for current and newly accepted university students, parents buying for students, and teachers and staff at all levels. Sign-up and enrollment verification through UNiDays is required.
