It didn’t take long for delivery dates for both Apple’s new Mac Studio and its Studio Display to begin slipping once they were announced. Delivery dates are currently showing well into April.
The higher-end M1 Ultra Mac Studio now shows delivery estimates of April 21 to April 28, and that delivery timespan is likely to slide even further as more orders are placed.
If you opt for the 64-GPU version of the M1 Ultra, the shipping estimate improves to the end of March. (Keep in mind that you’ll pay $1,000 more for that option. Customizing to other versions also changes the delivery date slightly.
The M1 Max Mac Studio still shows a delivery date of between March 24 and March 31, slipping from the initial March 18 delivery estimates.
The base model Studio Display with standard glass and standard stand is still showing a March 23 delivery date, but the estimates for delivery of the versions with nano-texture glass and the tilt and height-adjustable stand have slipped into mid-April.
While both products are no longer available for delivery on the official release date, some Apple stores may have some in stock for the Friday, March 18 release date.
