Apple today released macOS Big Sur 11.6.7, a minor update to the one-generation-old macOS Big Sur operating system. The update is for those still running Big Sur on their machines.
The macOS Big Sur 11.6.7 update is free and can be downloaded on all compatible Macs using the Software Update section of System Preferences.
Apple’s release notes for the update say macOS Big Sur 11.6.7 addresses an issue that could cause Mail and apps like Microsoft Outlook to be unable to open attachments if the app required to open the file is already running.
