Apple has expanded a previously U.S.-only Apple TV gift card offer to include more countries around the globe. Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD customers can score a $50 gift card when they purchase either device. The original offer was launched for U.S. buyers last month.
Apple has expanded the offer to more locations, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, and others. The promotion will run until August 15, including in the U.S.
Apple has been rumored to be working on a new version of the Apple TV. The $50 gift card offer could be an effort to sell out its remaining stock.
The gift card can’t be applied to the purchase of the device it comes with, buyers can’t use it to get the Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD for $50 off.
Apple TV HD is sold in a single 32GB configuration. The Apple TV 4K starts at $179 USD for 32GB and $199 USD for the 64GB model.
