A post from the account “yeux1122” on the Korean blog Naver claims that Apple will not increase the price of its entry-level flagship device in order to offset waning demand due to the global smartphone market slowdown.

Despite the recent price increase and supply chain instability, Apple decided to freeze the launch price of the iPhone 14 base model through a decision at the top executive level .
