Apple Store Goes Down Ahead of ‘Far Out’ Event

As is traditional, Apple’s online store has been taken down just ahead of its “Far Out” event, where it is expected to announce its new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch Series 8 lineups, as well as its new AirPods Pro, and other possible announcements.

The event will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater at the Apple Park campus. Apple is expected to make a number of announcements at the event and is expected to unveil the iPhone 14‌, the ‌iPhone 14‌ Plus, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the ‌iPhone 14 Pro‌ Max.

We can expect to see the biggest changes in the iPhone lineup to be in the two higher-end models of the lineup, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max. Both are expected to feature a new pill-shaped notch replacement, an always-on display, longer battery life, and more advanced cameras. Rumors indicate the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus to have fewer new features.

As for the Apple Watch Series 8, it is rumored to retain the same design as the Apple Watch Series 7 but boast a new body temperature sensor.

Apple is also expected to debut a new Apple Watch Pro, which will boast an all-new larger design with a larger display. The wearable is expected to be targeted at athletes.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also expects to see Apple unveil its second-generation AirPods Pro wireless earbuds at today’s event.

MacTrast will cover all of the happenings at today’s event, so stay tuned.
