Apple Support App Gets Updated Layout and Provides Easier Access to Local Providers

Apple on Tuesday updated its Support app, which helps Apple product owners obtain assistance with their Macs, iPhones, iPads, and other Apple products.

Apple says the updated version of the Support app offers a new layout to make it easier than ever to view and manage your calls, chats, reservations, and other activity. It also offers easier access to the locations of nearby service providers.

New version 5.0 features:

  • Browse the providers in your area to see what’s nearby.
  • New layout makes it easier than ever to view and manage your calls, chats, reservations, and other activity.
  • Expanded region availability to Vietnam, and added Vietnamese as a supported language. The Apple Support app is now available in 32 languages and 174 regions.
  • Performance enhancements and bug fixes.

Apple has added a navigation bar to the bottom of the app, including “Support,” “Locations,” and “Activity” tabs.

The Support tab offers options to manage subscriptions, check AppleCare coverage, and search for device advice. The Activity tab lists all of the support activity over the past 90 days, such as past and upcoming reservations and calls. Last but not least, Locations shows you a list of service providers and options to schedule a repair.

The Apple Support app is a free download from the App Store. [Direct Link]
