Apple on Monday released iOS 17.2 for the iPhone, as well as iPadOS 17.2 for the iPad. The update can be downloaded and installed on compatible iPhones and iPads over-the-air by going to “Settings” -> “General” -> “Software Update.”
iOS 17.2 adds the Journal app, which allows iPhone and iPad users to record their daily activities and thoughts. The app offers prompts that can be used as inspiration for entries, and journal entries can include images, voice recordings, location tags, and more.
The Action Button on the iPhone 15 Pro models can now be set to start. new Translate function and Apple has included support for iMessage Contact Key Verification. There’s also now an option to record spatial video that will be viewable on the Apple Vision Pro headset in 3D.
