Apple TV+ popular documentary “Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie” has scored a Peabody Award nomination. The film, first announced in 2022, premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January, before it began streaming on Apple TV+.

Patrick Hipes for Deadline:

A total of 41 nominees were revealed today in the three categories, with noms in the Arts, Children’s/Youth, Entertainment, and Interactive & Immersive sections set to be announced Thursday by the Peabodys, which aim to honor the year’s most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting and streaming media.

Today’s Documentary noms included Davis Guggenheim’s Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, which was nominated for seven Emmys this past year and won four, including Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special and Best Director for Guggenheim.

This film follows the life of well-loved actor and activist Michael J. Fox, detailing his personal and professional triumphs and challenges following his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. The film feels like a Michael J. Fox movie from his heyday.
