Retro gaming fans can now play their favorite DOS games on their iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple Vision, or Apple TV, as the popular RetroArch emulator has received an update.
According to the App Store page for RetroArch, support for the following cores has been added:
- Cave Story (NXEngine)
- Doom (PrBoom)
- DOS (DOSBox-Pure)
- Nintendo – DS (melonDS DS)
- Nintendo – Pokemon Mini (PokeMini)
- Palm OS (Mu)
- SNK – Neo Geo Pocket / Color (Beetle NeoPop)
RetroArch is a popular multi-platform emulator that is available on most popular device platforms, including the Mac. The app allows gamers to play their favorite retro games on their Apple devices. The popular emulator is available for iPhones or iPod touch devices running iOS 14.2 or later, iPads running iPadOS 14.2 or later, Apple TVs running tvOS 11 or later, and Apple Vision Pro headsets running visionOS 1.0 or later.
