Apple’s Home Page Honors Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day in the United States, and the home page of Apple’s website is honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The page includes some of King’s well-known quotes, and includes a link to explore his legacy further, through the Apple Books and Apple News apps.

Apple CEO Tim Cook also honored King in a social media post today.

 

Dr. King was an American Baptist minister and activist who was a leader in the Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs. King was assassinated on April 4, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee.
