Apple today seeded the fourth betas of its upcoming iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 updates to developers for testing. The new betas come one week after the release of the third betas.
Developers and public beta testers can download the updates by going to the Settings app, then tapping on “General” -> “Software Update” on iPhone and iPad devices
iOS 18.5 and iPadOS 18.5 introduce a few new design changes, more options for reverting the Mail app back to the prior design (including removing contact photos), and AppleCare information has been easier to find.
If we find out any other new or revamped features, we’ll we’ll update you in this space.
As usual, MacTrast and Apple both warn users to not install any betas on their daily driver iPhone or iPad. Instead, only install betas on a device set aside for testing purposes.
