Apple’s new “Apple Vision Air” will boast a thinner, lighter design, as well as a “Midnight” blue finish, according to the leaker known as “Kosutami.”
In a recent post on X, the leaker claims that the “Vision Air” will feature a thinner design and switch over to titanium for the battery enclosure and several of its internal structures to reduce the device’s weight. Most of the exterior of the device will continue to be aluminum, except with a “Midnight” bluish-black finish. The current Vision Pro is only available in silver.
Our next friend in the Vision lineup is so thin, features titanium to reduce weight, including the connectors and the battery, and all comes with iPhone 5-era black- which looks like graphite dark blue. And be noted: this might not called as —Pro but you can Air it out.

The leaker also showed off a series of images of a new, Lightning-style connector in the Midnight finish said to be destined for the next-generation Vision device.

The connector is similar to the connector used for the Vision Pro, except it sports 12 pins instead of eight, indicating that the new cable is part of a larger redesign.
Apple is expected to release its M5-powered second-generation Vision Pro headset sometime in the fall 2025 to spring 2026 timespan. The company is also widely rumored to be working on a lower cost headset that could be the “Vision Air” device Kosutami refers to.
