Apple is conducting a cool new spring campaign in Japan to promote the App Store with fun ads featuring art commissioned from 13 local artists.

As first spotted by Creative Blog (via AppleInsider), Apple Japan’s YouTube channel has posted three new videos promoting the App Store via artwork commissioned from 13 local artists.

Each video shows a user tapping the App Store logo, then the camera zooms into a colorful sequence of animations showcasing a variety of apps, each in its own visual style.

Apple has also published a featured story on the Japanese App Store promoting the “new life” season:
