Apple Maps has added a dedicated experience for the Miami F1 Grand Prix to its “2026 Formula 1 Tracks Around the World” guide. The event takes place on May 3 and will be seen exclusively on Apple TV in the United States.
The guide offers an immersive way for race fans to explore F1 circuits. It started with Albert Park in Australia, and more 3D circuit experiences will be added as the season moves forward.
As spotted by 9to5Mac, the Miami experience provides 3D landmarks for things like grandstands, The Marina, the Pit Building, the Finish Line, and more. Technical information is also provided about the circuit, as well as local gates, race entrances, bridges, restrooms, and water stations.
The information includes “A Local’s Guide to Miami F1 Race Week,” providing dining and shopping recommendations, as well as “Hyperlocal F1 Miami Race Week Spots,” that identifies prime viewing locations close to the track.
The 2026 F1 season started in Australia on March 8. Last October, Apple and Formula 1 announced a five-year partnership making Apple TV the exclusive broadcaster of all F1 races in the United States beginning in 2026.
Apple TV delivers full coverage of Formula 1, streaming all practice, qualifying, Sprint sessions, and Grands Prix to Apple TV subscribers. Select races and all practice sessions will also be available for free in the Apple TV app throughout the course of the season.
Apple also says it will “amplify” the sport across Apple News, Apple Maps, Apple Music, and Apple Fitness+. The free Apple Sports app will feature live updates for every qualifying, Sprint, and race for each Grand Prix across the season, providing real-time leaderboards, season driver and constructor standings, Live Activities to follow on the Lock Screen, and a designated widget for the iPhone Home Screen.
