Valve’s Steam Link app is coming to the Apple Vision Pro. The app allows gamers to stream games from their main gaming computer to another device.
The upcoming visionOS app will allow Apple Vision Pro users to wirelessly stream games from their Mac or Windows PC to their headset. The device do need to both be on the same local network.
From the Steam website:
Hey everyone, we are happy to announce a native Steam Link app for visionOS!
This update improves network performance, allows streaming up to 4K resolutions, and allows you to dynamically adjust the curve of the display in panoramic mode. This client is for 2D streaming only and does not support VR content.

The latest beta brings improved network performance, allows streaming up to 4K resolutions, and allows users to dynamically adjust the curve of the display in panoramic mode.
Know issues in the beta:
- It is difficult to target smaller areas with pinch gestures. Enabling pointer control with your head in the accessibility settings helps with this. Using a game controller is highly recommended.
- The OS does not provide Bluetooth mouse motion events when the window is in curved mode. This is being investigated by Apple.
It should be noted that the new client will only support 2D game streaming and does not provide support for VR content. The company has yet to share a public release date for the new client.
