Just like the price of everything else these days, the price of AppleCare+ subscriptions in the United States are on the rise, reports Bloomberg. New monthly subscription plans for Mac and iPads are now $0.50 more expensive per month, while annual plans are $5 more.
The price increases apply to new subscriptions, so customers who already have an AppleCare+ subscription for a device will keep paying their current prices.
The AppleCare+ pricing change comes on the heels of recent price increases for Macs and iPads, due to global memory shortages and increasing component costs. Price increases ranged from $100 to $1,300.
The price of the AppleCare One subscription plan introduced last year and covers up to three Apple devices for a $19.99 per month fee, has not yet increased. Additional products can be added to an AppleCare One plan for $5.99 per month.
While iPhone AppleCare+ plan pricing has also remained the same, it could see a hike when the new, and likely more expensive, iPhones debut in September. The last time Apple increased iPhone AppleCare+ plan pricing was in early 2025, when it rose the price an additional $0.50.
