Apple TV this morning announced an increase in its subscription price. In the United States, the streaming service will now cost $14.99 per month for both new and existing subscribers, up from $12.99 per month.
Existing subscribers will be notified approximately one month prior to being charged the new price, so keep an eye on your email inbox.
As a result of Apple TV’s increase in price, the Apple One Individual plan also went up. In the U.S., it is now $21.95 per month, up from $19.95 per month. Oddly enough, the Apple One Family and Apple One Premier plan prices did not increase.
The streaming service last hiked prices in August of 2025, when the price Jumped 30% going from $9.99 to $12.99. Its $99.99 annual rate at that time was left unchanged.
It’s the fourth price increase for Apple TV in four years. The monthly fee has now officially tripled from the original 2019 launch price of $4.99 per month, although it should be noted that Apple TV offers MUCH more content than it did when it debuted as Apple TV+. Apple TV now offers more than 300 original TV shows and movies, up from just a handful when it first debuted.
Apple TV’s price hikes come as other major premium video-entertainment streamers – including Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu, Paramount+ and YouTube Premium – have also raised their prices over the last few years.
